Event: Wassail into the Heckfield Orchard
The last of the Christmas period, come a-wassailing with us among the Heckfield Estates orchard.
Celebrate the start of the New Year beautifully with a traditional musical troupe and help encourage an abundant and healthy harvest.
Hailing from Pre-Norman times, a Wassail is an old English custom where growers raise a toast (apple drink) to fruit trees.
The group will meet the Basingclog Morris at HOME FARM, which is run on biodynamic principles.
