How to find us

Heckfield Place is located in the heart of rural Hampshire, just over an hour from London.

By Car

Just 75 minutes from Central London

Follow the M4 towards Reading.

Take exit 11 and head south on the A33.

Turn left onto The Causeway.

At the roundabout, continue straight onto the B3011.

After 300 yards, turn left and take the drive towards Heckfield Place.

By Train

Approximately 1 hour from London Waterloo or Paddington

We're easily accessible by trains departing from London Waterloo to Winchfield station or Paddington to Reading station. It is a further 15 and 30 minute drive from the stations, respectively, and we recommend pre-booking transportation from the stations to Heckfield. We would be more than happy to arrange this and advise costs if needed.

  • Are children welcome?

    Of course. Children of all ages are welcome. We’ll be happy to place an extra bed in certain rooms for children up to the age of 16yrs at a charge of £100 per night – and that’s inclusive of their breakfast and VAT. Baby cots are provided with our compliments.

  • Are pets welcome?

    Yes they are. We have a variety of different room types available with a small cleaning charge applied per stay.

  • Is it possible to become a member?

    We’re very happy to hear expressions of interest, and we ask people to contact us directly, and we will be in touch.

  • What are the deposit and cancellation policies?

    Credit card details are required to guarantee the reservation.

    Pre-payment in full is required 14 days prior to guests' arrival.

    Cancellation Policy:

    In the event of cancellation within 14 days of arrival, 50% of the total value of the stay plus taxes would be retained.

    In the event of same day cancellation, early departure or no-show, the entire stay plus tax will be applied.


  • Why do we add a discretionary service charge on our rooms?

    Because just as much work goes into our rooms - to make every stay effortless and thoughtful - as it does into our food, we do not want to discriminate between housekeepers/engineers and waiters/chefs.

    A room service charge is the fairest way to reward hard work with all of the money going directly into every member of the team’s pockets. We would love to incorporate it into the room rate - but this would incur additional taxes that would impact our employees.

    So by making this discretionary, more goes to our employees.

    If we do not meet your expectations in our levels of service, we are happy to remove this discretionary charge from your final bill.
