Awaken with the estate as the first light of day reveals the magic of spring birdsong at Heckfield Place on Saturday 9 May.

Your morning begins early, as Estate Wildlife Expert Jamie Cooper leads a guided walk through the awakening landscape (approximately 1 hour). As the dawn chorus reaches its peak, you’ll be immersed in a rich tapestry of birdsong, learning to recognise different species and their distinctive calls while the estate slowly comes to life around you.

Following the walk, return to the Glass House for a nourishing hot breakfast, thoughtfully prepared using seasonal ingredients from Heckfield Home Farm. Surrounded by the first blooms of the Upper Walled Gardens, it’s a moment to pause, reflect, and savour the morning until approximately 8:00am.
