July 20 2024 - A Frutiful Workshop with Sarah Johnson

In the heart of the Upper Walled Gardens in peak bloom, Friends and resident guests can gather in the Glass House for a special workshop with Heckfield's former Head of Pastry, Sarah Johnson.

In celebration of her recently released cookbook, Fruitful, this unique demonstration will celebrate innovative ways to utilise and work with fruit when cooking and baking.

Co-hosted by Heckfield's current Head of Pastry, Ellen de Jager, guests can immerse themselves in this intimate experience while enjoying House-made cakes, a selection of beautiful sandwiches, seasonal jams and cordials to pair with the day's demonstrations.

Best paired with a trip to Home Farm's Produce Sale beforehand to shop for beautiful fruit and produce harvested fresh from the earth for the inspiration to continue at home.

Signed copies of Sarah's books will be available for purchase on the day.
