Equinox event: Create living wreath for autumn
Using a wonderful selection of preserved materials and including dried flowers from our Home Farm, our in-house florist April will demonstrate how to weave your own willow wreath for the Equinox and beyond. Along with coffee/tea and cake, learn how to adorn it with foraged and preserved materials to last through the season and beyond.
A multiple Chelsea medallist, April creates the arrangements seen throughout the House. While having use of the flowers grown on the Home Farm and drawing inspiration from the expansive grounds, April has the good fortune of working closely with Kitten Grayson whose signature style can be seen in the seasonal blooms and the styling around the house.
Each participant will design and make their own decorative wreath from scratch. All the elements will dry to become naturally preserved. Working closely with nature, you will be taught how to create a fully biodegradable wreath and pick up sustainable techniques on your way. No floristry experience required. All tools and materials will be provided.
FITNESS LEVEL: MODERATE FIT.
Please don't forget it rains (apparently) in Hampshire occasionally: please bring rain jacket and comfortable outdoor shoes.
