Housekeeping Supervisor

We are now looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our lovely Housekeeping team.
Responsibilities include:
- To assign room attendants to sections and prepare the daily work sheets.
- To allocate and check daily tasks to housekeeping porters and public area cleaners
- Check room, public areas and Spa daily to ensure cleanliness is of the required standard
- Supports and supervises an effective inspection program for all guestrooms and public space.
- To take immediate corrective action if their work falls below the required standard and escalate to the Executive Housekeeper where necessary
- Ensures all employees have proper supplies, equipment and uniforms
- Act as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Maintenance, Front Office, and Laundry
- Assist Executive Housekeeper in training, scheduling, evaluating, disciplining, motivating and coaching employees
- Supervises daily Housekeeping shift operations and ensures compliance with all housekeeping policies, standards and procedures.
- Responds to and handles guest issues and complaints swiftly
- When necessary, to be “hands-on” and service rooms or public areas and cover evening housekeeper shift as required.
